IDEAL Membership Criteria

IDEAL welcomes individuals and institutions who share our commitment to sustainable development, environmental protection, and institutional capacity building across the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. To ensure active and meaningful participation, prospective members are expected to meet the following criteria:

  1. Alignment with IDEAL’s Mission and Values
    Members must demonstrate a clear commitment to IDEAL’s goals, including sustainable development, climate action, and institutional development.

  1. Relevant Background or Interest
    Applicants should have experience, education, or a strong interest in one or more of IDEAL’s focus areas (e.g., environmental science, education, research, public policy, community development).

  2. Active Contribution
    Members are encouraged to contribute their time, knowledge, or resources to support IDEAL’s activities, whether through volunteering, participation in projects, or advisory support.

  3. Ethical Conduct and Collaboration
    All members must uphold ethical standards and respect diversity, collaboration, and transparency in line with IDEAL’s code of conduct.

  4. Application and Approval
    Interested individuals or institutions must submit a completed membership application form. Applications will be reviewed by the IDEAL Membership Committee, and acceptance is based on alignment with the above criteria.
